BEHRNES Barbara Elizabeth (Barb) – On November 18, 2024.

 Peacefully at Coldstream Lifecare, Ashburton. In her 78th  Year. Dearly loved wife of Alan (Snowy). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Denise and Trevor Radford, and Mark and Debbie. Cherished Narney and Nana of Brooke, Olivia, and Matthew; and Riley, and Campbell and great Narney of Carter, Salem, Henry, Tate and Hudson. Messages to the Behrnes family PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. A celebration of Barb’s life will be held at Our Chapel cnr East and Cox Street, Ashburton, on Friday November 22, commencing at 10.30am followed by private cremation at Ashburton Crematorium.

ROBB Trevor Henry, On November 15, 2024.

Tragically taken doing what he loved. Adored, cherished and loved  partner of Louise. Much loved son of the late Noel and Marion. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Tony and Helen, Noeline and Murray (dec), Kevin and Christine, Wendy, Gary (dec) and Sheerie, and Alan and Karen. Cherished uncle of all his nieces and nephews, friend of Sarah and George, Liz, and Nicola and James. A memorial service to celebrate Trevor’s life will be held at the Mt Hutt Memorial Hall, Main Street, Methven on Friday November 22, 2024, commencing at 2:30pm.

GARDINER Roy William, (formerly of Rakaia), on Monday 12th November 2024

Peacefully at Bellevue Care Centre, Christchurch, aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of Natalie for 71 years. Dearly loved and respected father and father in law of Ian and Vicky, Dianne and Chris, and Joanne and Andry. Loved Granddad of Toni, and Jason; Sam; Jayden, and Shannon and their partners, and doting great Granddad of his five great grandchildren. Thanks to the staff of the Rakaia Medical Centre and Bellevue Care Centre for their exceptional loving care of Roy. BENNETT Graeme Clarence – On November 12, 2024,

Comfortably at Bupa Parklands in Christchurch, aged 86 years.  Much loved husband of the late Alison and the late Pamela.  Cherished Dad and father-in-law of Malcolm and Julie, and Linda and David. BATEMAN Richard John – On November 10, 2024

Peacefully in his sleep at Burwood Hospital, Christchurch, surrounded by his family. Aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of Sally, much loved dad of Jason, and Kerry and loved by his extended family. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at Our Chapel cnr East and Cox Street, Ashburton, on Thursday November 14, commencing at 11.00am followed by private cremation at Ashburton Crematorium.

DALE Janice Mary (Nee Thompson), on November 7, 202

DALE Janice Mary (Nee Thompson) – It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Janice on Thursday November 7th 2024 at Rosebank Lifecare in Ashburton, in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Kevin and an adored mother and mother-in-law of Brett (deceased), Joanne (Melbourne) and Tim and Sharyn (Rangiora). Cherished Grandma to Emma and Brad, Jared and Nicole, Aimee and Dann, Katrina and Chris, and Elliott and Ayla and a loved great-Grandma to Lincoln, Will, Ollie, Darcy, Flynn, Charlie, Maddie and Ruby, and a special sister to Heather. Our family would like to sincerely thank Rosebank Lifecare for their kindness and care of Janice over the past 10 years and especially their gentle and kind nursing over the last few days. It is with great sadness we share the passing of David Good on November 3, 2024 peacefully passed while out doing what he loved hunting in the hills. Surrounded by his great mates.
