Peacefully at Coldstream Lifecare, Ashburton, in his 84th year. Elder son of Victor and May (both deceased). Treasured brother of Colin and the late Noelene Gardiner. Friend, uncle or cousin to many. After a private cremation, Gavin’s ashes will be placed in the Rakaia cemetery in a private ceremony on a date to be determined.

After a long battle with illness at Ashburton Hospital, aged 84 years, Loved wife and mate of Raymond.  Beloved mother and mother in law of Terry and Wendy, Jennifer and Bill Wasley, and Robyn and Lance Mitchell (Australia).
