peacefully at Radius Millstream, Ashburton, aged 91 years.  Dearly loved husband of the late Roberta. MURDOCH Heather Elaine (nee Boag), on August 1st 2023

 (formerly of Mayfield). On  1st August 2023, passed away at Ashburton Hospital, aged 86 years. Beloved wife and companion of the late Ian (Copper), dearly loved mother of Brent Murdoch (Mayfield) and Joanne Blue (Awatere Valley), mother-in-law of Cushla Murdoch and John Blue, devoted grandmother to Holly and Alice Murdoch and Fiona and Dugald Blue; cherished daughter of the late Susan and William Boag (late of Winchmore), loved sister of Helen Gallagher, Hilda Phillips, Peggy Suttie, William Boag, Melva Childs, James Boag (all passed away), and Peter Boag.

18.6.1932 – 30.7.2023. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn, at Nazareth House. Beloved wife of John Bernard (Jack) McKendry (deceased).Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Moira McKendry and Gerald Atkinson, Philip and Judith McKendry, Roz and Craige Mackenzie, Marty and Sophie McKendry and Beth and Richard Jolly. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Eleanor and Kevin Murphy (both decd), Pat and Cecelia Connolly, David  (decd) and Irene Connolly and Bernard and Pauline Connolly (both decd).Dearly loved grandma and grandma-in-law of Kate O’Boyle (decd), Liam O’Boyle and June Homtientong, Jess O’Boyle and Tim Banks, and Gabby O’Boyle and Kai Rala McKinnon-Barbosa, Ella, Tom and George McKendry, Jemma and Paddy Mulvihill, and Scott and Eshkar Adato, Natalie, Sally and Patrick McKendry and Georgina, Joshua and Harriette Jolly. Much loved great-grandma Kathryn of Dahlia and Milo, Mona, and Paige and Annabelle. A beloved friend of so many in the wide range of community groups and organisations she belonged to and supported. Special thanks to the medical, nursing and care staff who supported Mum in her last days at Ashburton Hospital and then at Nazareth House.
