29th May 1935- 27th November 2024, aged 89. Much loved wife, soulmate and best friend of Peter Watson. After a brave battle with cancer John passed away on the morning 25^th November, 2024. Loving hubby of Muriel and loving dad of Lynleigh, Scott, Todd & Helena, and Paul (dec). John will be greatly missed by so many. The Dad Jokes will live on, but someone else will have to collect the agates at Wakanui Beach now. No flowers, please. Instead, please consider giving a donation to the Mt Somers Walkway Society that was so close to John’s heart.  A celebration of John’s life will be held at the Sinclair Centre, Park Street, Ashburton on Friday 29th November at 11:00 a.m.

CALDER Ngaire Mavis (nee Thomas). On Sunday 24th November 2024, after a long illness Ngaire passed peacefully at Tuarangi Rest Home, aged 76 years. Loved wife of Graeme and loved mother of Andrew, and the late Jonathan (Jonny). Much loved sister of Doug and Jill, Laraine (deceased) and Wayne, Jill and Lloyd.
