It is with much sadness that we announce that Ellis passed away peacefully in his sleep following a short illness. Dearly loved husband of the late Elizabeth Florence (Betty) and father of Roger; Elizabeth & Graeme Small; adored & proud grandfather & great-grandfather of Matthew & Grace and Abigail; Kate & Matthew; James & Stacey and Charlotte, Lucas, Evie-Rose & Grace; Jonathon & Grace; Anna & Chris; Thomas & Luisa. The family acknowledges the outstanding care of the staff at Ashburton Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rotary Club of Ashburton Plains would be appreciated.
