Passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2018 whilst on holiday in the UK with his adored wife, Ruth. On August 9, 2018. Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Radius Millstream Resthome, Ashburton. In his 92^nd year. Leaving behind his beloved wife Patricia Mary, having just had their 59^th Wedding Anniversary and also leaving his darling children Susan (Oregon), Bruce (Methven) and Neil (Oregon) and their respective families Richie, Mark, Jack, Dean, and Maxine; Linda, Janna, Nicole, Caleb, Mia, and Liam; Deidre, Lily, and  Kellen; and great grandad of Jaidon and Quin. Loved big brother of Maureen and the late Barney Carrell (London). A loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews in London. Loved brother in law and uncle of the Brown side of the family (Queenstown).
