LOWE Noel Stanley(JP retired), on August 23, 2021

in his 82nd year, peacefully at home in Ashburton after a short illness.  Dearly loved friend of Audrey and husband for the last 57 years.  Loved and adored father and father in-law of Sharon and Gordon Duthie, Cindy and Warwick Lucas (Sunshine Coast), Philip and Donna, Alison and Michael Hendren (Glentui). Cherished grandfather Noel and friend of Michael and Sophia Hathaway and Alex Duthie, Amanda and Justin Blaha, Charli Lucas and Aaron Miles, Chloe and Josh Lowe, Jessica and Jack Hendren, and Great grandfather to Madilyn Blaha. Special thanks to all that helped care for Noel during his illness, Dr Malcolm Wootton, the District and Palliative Care Nurses, Carers and St John Ambulance. Passed away peacefully with the girls by her side on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, aged 87 years at Ashburton. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack.  Amazing and beautiful Mum of Lois & Robin Marshall, Gill, Jen, Di & Mark Prendergast, Colleen & Chris Helem. Adored Nana of Kevin, Daniel, Tania, Kelly, Hannah, Harrison, Jack, Cameron & Max.  Great Grand Nana to Jayden, Brandon, Eadie, Chloe, Bella, Cedric, Heidi & Gemma. At peace now. The family wish to thank the nursing staff, especially Sobin & Rebekah at Ashburton Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion they showed Ayleen and her girls. SMALL – Frederick James [Jim]. Unexpectedly at home on Monday August 16, 2021 aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Nita, much admired father to Greg, Brendon, Leonie and father in law to John.  A loving Ganga to Juliet and James. Much loved brother, uncle, and brother in law to all the Small, Orr, Prendergast and Kennelly families.  A true gentleman and a friend to all who crossed his path.  Our lives are richer for having known him. Dearly loved husband of the late Isabel, much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Alison and John Driscoll (Ashburton), Judith and Mark Snelling (Christchurch), the late Liz, and Trevor Beckett (UK),and Lynette Gill and Jeff Keith (Sydney). Murray was the adored Papa of Simon and Cindy Driscoll, Rebecca and Stuart Wiseman, Anna and Garrick Harper, Andrew and Michelle Driscoll, Joanne Snelling and Michael Boado, Lara Snelling, Hayden Beckett, Tiana Chezzi and Leila Chezzi, and a treasured Great Papa to Abigail, Toby, Kacey, Billie, Shae, Johan, Jenson and Phineas. Only child of the late Malcolm and Gertrude Johnson.  Loved cousin of Margaret Gallagher, Elwyn Bills, Frances Dennis, Jennifer Mills and the extended Johnson and Roseveare families.
