HICKMAN Raymond Anthony, on September 1st, 2021

Our beloved husband, father, brother and brother-in-law, Raymond Anthony Hickman aged 76 years has passed peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on Wednesday 1st September 2021. After a recent diagnosis of an aggressive rare cancer and short treatment period, he has lost a brave battle. He touched so many lives and will be dearly missed.The adored husband and soulmate of Patricia, a treasured and wonderful father of Murray, Lisa and Grant. Loved father-in-law to Fiona, Hamish and Emma. Beloved son of the late Tony and Maureen and cherished brother to Annette, Kevin, Helen, Sue, Tony and the late Paul. Beloved brother-in-law to Murray, Joanna, Kevin, Penny, Jan & Russell, Arnold & the late Lynnette, Kevin & Lynne. Cherished Grandad of Olivia, Samantha, Josh, Alex, Matthew, Ava, Neve, Sam and Toby. Loved uncle of Keriann, Deane, Cherie, Kelly, Jasmine, Adele, Holly, Matt, Tiffany, Ethan, Libby, Ebony, Kane, Chandelle, Carl, Simon, Amanda, Melanie, Daniel, Robert, Tony, Hamish, Mathew and Scott.   Messages to the Hickman family c/- P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740. “Nanny Betty”. It is with great sadness Betty passed away peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on September 2nd, 2021, aged 90 years.  Much loved and adored mother and mother in law of Ken and Carol, and Sue and Barry.  Grandmother of Megan and Shannon, Abby and Luke, Amy and Gemma.  Great-grandmother of Jye, Jade, Chayse, Millie, Cooper, Jett, Ruby-Rose, Harlow, and Rivah.  Great great-grandmother of Mahlia.  Messages to the Brown, and Cawley family 67 Main Street, Methven 7730.  Many thanks to Methven House for their care and support of Betty.  A private cremation has been held.

Peacefully at Radius Millstream, Ashburton, aged 95 years. Much loved and precious wife of the late Stan. Loved and adored mother and mother in law of Tony and Sue, Eugene and Joy, Kathryn and David, Michelle and Hansi, Stephen and Kendra, Vivienne and Snow, Bernadine and Jack, and Monique and Simon. Dearly loved Nana’D’ of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 21.12.1931 – 31.08.2021. At Ashburton Hospital. In her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Janus. Loved mother and mother in law of John, Nick and Lynne, Bruce and Jillian, Leo, Trevor and Rachel, Richard and Rachael, Gina and Paul, Neville and Karen, and friend of Brenda. With great sadness, Robert peacefully passed away on August 28th, 2021, at his home in Ashburton. Caring and loving husband of Celeste. Devoted and supportive father of Sean. Dear brother of Graeme. Uncle of Shieldon, Mark and Marlene in the Philippines. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the medical teams and carers who assisted Robert, providing continued care at his home in the midst of current restrictions. HUSBAND Nelori Winifred, on August 26, 2021

  ‘Mum’,’ Grandma Husband’, ‘Aunty Nelori’, passed away peacefully at 1.00pm, Thursday August 26, 2021 at Rosebank Lifecare, Ashburton, aged 85 years.  Loved wife of the late Ernest John, much loved mother of Suzanne, Graeme, and Jenny.  The best Grandma to Jake, Jessie, Scott, and Kate.  To all the caregivers and nurses who were there for Grandma in her finals years, especially Rosebank, we thank you for your support and love.  Messages to the Husband family, 53a Morgan Street, Methven 7730.  A private burial at Methven has been held.

Passed away peacefully at Rosebank Lifecare, Ashburton, aged 85 years. With much sadness we say goodbye. Passed away suddenly on Monday August 23, 2021 at Coldstream Lifecare, aged 81 years. Dearly loved Mum of Kate and Alan Bird.  Loved Grandma of Nick, Mike, and Emily, Kimberley, Jaimee, and Jayden.  You will be greatly missed by us all, (including Skye).  Thank you to all the wonderful caring staff at Coldstream Lifecare.  Your passing has left a giant hole in our hearts and the memories are forever there. in his 82nd year, peacefully at home in Ashburton after a short illness.  Dearly loved friend of Audrey and husband for the last 57 years.  Loved and adored father and father in-law of Sharon and Gordon Duthie, Cindy and Warwick Lucas (Sunshine Coast), Philip and Donna, Alison and Michael Hendren (Glentui). Cherished grandfather Noel and friend of Michael and Sophia Hathaway and Alex Duthie, Amanda and Justin Blaha, Charli Lucas and Aaron Miles, Chloe and Josh Lowe, Jessica and Jack Hendren, and Great grandfather to Madilyn Blaha. Special thanks to all that helped care for Noel during his illness, Dr Malcolm Wootton, the District and Palliative Care Nurses, Carers and St John Ambulance.
