HUTCHINSON Terence (Terry), on April 1, 2021

Terry passed away peacefully at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton, aged 84 years.  Dearly loved husband of Bev for 64 years.  Loved father of Robyn, David, Michael and Dianne, the late Kerry, and Susan and George.  Loved grandfather and great grandfather.  Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Tuarangi  for providing excellent care over the past 10 months.  Messages to the Hutchinson family c/- P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  At Terry’s request a family farewell has been held.

DAVISON Robin (Rob) Alexander, on April 4, 2021

KEANE Joseph Colin (Colin), April 4, 2021

(formerly of Methven),  aged 88 years.  Dearly loved husband of Lyn.  Loved father and father in law of Mary and Justin, Kathleen and Iain, Peter and Emma, and Angela and Max.  Special Grandad to Nicholas, Charlotte, and Samuel; Luke, and Dominic; Jack, Olivia, and Lucy; Benjamin, and William. Loved brother and brother in law of the late Jim and Maureen, and loved uncle to Bernadette and Alister, Rosemary, Kevin and their families. A Requiem Mass to celebrate the life of Colin will be held at Our Lady of the Snows, Main Street, Methven on Thursday April 8, commencing at 1.00pm.  Followed by interment at the Methven Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be at Paterson’s Chapel, on Wednesday evening (April 7) at 7.00pm.

WHITING Maureen Agnes , on April 3, 2021

aged 94 years.  It is with much sadness that we say goodbye to a dearly loved wife of the late Trevor (Senior), much loved mother and mother in law of the late Rex, and Moyra, Trevor and Liz, Lynda and Peter, Gary and Dawn, and Andrew.  A much loved Nana of Bronnie, and Campbell; Lee-Ann, and Shane;  Anya, and Cawte, and their partners. Loved great Nana of Brayden, Tenielle, Molly,  and Lachie, Josh and Liam, Orla, Mason, and Hadlee and Oliver, and a great granddaughter yet to meet. O’DONNELL Ashley Neil, on March 29, 2021

31-8-1985, most treasured and loved partner of Sophie.  Loved Dad of Ella, and Scott.  Treasured son of Chris and Dawn.  Beloved brother and brother in law of Lisa and Nigel Fleck.  Son in law and brother in law of Fabienne, Jean-Claude, Jacques, Stephan, Anne-Laure, Lionel and Marie.  Special uncle of Georgia, Connor, Tyler, Samuel, Noe, Lise, Cesar,Gaspard, and Salome.  Much loved grandson, nephew and cousin of the O’Donnell and Larcombe families.  A dear friend to many. “Forever in the high country and always in our hearts”. RANTON William John (Jack), on March 26, 2021

 Passed away peacefully on Friday March 26, 2021 at Coldstream Lifecare, Ashburton. Much loved husband of Marion and stepdad to Pam. Loved son, brother and brother in law. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the staff at Coldstream for their love, care and attention given to Jack. JAMES John Frederick, on March 27, 2021

Aged 78 years. With our deepest sadness, our precious John passed away unexpectedly at Ashburton Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Cherished and devoted husband of Julie. Amazing Dad and father in law of Kim and Lynette, and Donna and Jason. Adored Grandad of Baden, Ansley, Sheldon, Tegan and their partners. Cherished and much loved great Grandad to Madison, Zak, Sophie, Izaiah, Skylah, and Lucas. Our family would like to say a very special thank you to the staff at Ashburton Hospital and Methven Medical Centre for their wonderful care of John. Thank you to all our friends for your on going condolences. Peacefully at Ashburton Hospital. Aged 79 Years. Dearly loved husband of Maureen. Much loved father and father in law and “Bri” of Kristen, Peter, Rose, Thom, and Marc Simmons (Gisborne), Nigel, Tracey, Taine, and Dylan Flatman (Leeston), Richard, Sherree, Georgia, Isabel, and Toby Flatman (Mapua), Michael, Anna, Mary, Clare, and Harry Flatman (Christchurch). Dearly loved by all and will be sorely missed. As per Brian’s request in lieu of flowers, donations to Maia Health Foundation would be much appreciated and may be left at the service. Peacefully after a courageous battle, aged 56 years.  Much loved husband of Kim.  Dearly loved father and father in law of Angela and Christopher Law, Brendon and Jezamay, Nicole, Corey, and Kaitlyn.
