Passed away peacefully at his home in Ashburton surrounded by his loving family, in his 89^th year.  Loved and cherished husband and best friend to Clarice.  Dearly loved father and father in law to Janice and Tony, Linda and Brent, Rex and Kay, Annette, Kenneth and Tracy, and Paula.  A very special and respected grandfather to his 28 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
