Suddenly at Auckland Hospital on Saturday 28^th January 2023.  Dearly loved husband of Margaret Connolly, and the late Anne.  Much loved father and father in law of Shane & Lisa (Christchurch), Justin & Meg (Geraldine), Matthew (Timaru), and Hamish & Kate (Christchurch).  Much loved Grandad of James, Will & Louis; Rachel, Tara & Finn; Vincent, Daniel & Olivia, and Charlie, Minnie & Ellie.  Respected friend of Lucy Passos and Paul, the late Tim and Brendon Connolly.
